Handsets & Devices Specialist

About the role

The Handsets & Devices Specialist will drive the execution and performance of the device portfolio across all commercial channels in Sulaymaniyah. You will use data‑driven insights to meet annual operating plan targets, maximize revenue and profitability, and ensure seamless integration of devices with tariffs, financing and digital services.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver AOP targets for device sales volumes and revenue, optimizing pricing, promotions and subsidy frameworks.
• Develop and manage device portfolio strategy, including product selection, positioning, lifecycle and phase‑out decisions.
• Lead business case development and commercialization strategy for new devices and portfolio initiatives.
• Plan flagship launches and pre‑order activities, ensuring demand capture and execution excellence.
• Forecast demand, align quantities with market needs and define channel assortment across digital, retail, B2B and dealer networks.
• Monitor inventory health, drive corrective actions to reduce aging stock and improve rotation.
• Manage OEM relationships, evaluating pricing, delivery timelines and support effectiveness.
• Integrate devices with tariffs, financing models and digital services to create compelling end‑to‑end propositions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a quantitative field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing within GSM, telecommunications or digital services.
• 5+ years of partner/vendor management experience with OEMs, distributors or technology providers.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Arabic (written and verbal).

• Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data modeling, dashboarding).
• PowerPoint for executive reporting and data visualization.
