Country Manager – Iraq

About the role

The Country Manager will own LOYONOVA’s business in Iraq, driving commercial growth and full P&L responsibility. Reporting as the senior commercial and operational leader, you will set sales targets, lead business development, and ensure successful delivery of client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full P&L for LOYONOVA Iraq, including revenue, margins, cost control and profitability.
• Build and manage annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
• Set, monitor and achieve sales and revenue targets across products and client segments.
• Lead business development and corporate sales to acquire enterprise and strategic accounts.
• Identify market opportunities, build a qualified pipeline and close high‑value deals.
• Oversee account management to ensure client satisfaction, retention and growth.
• Drive upselling and cross‑selling across the existing client base.
• Oversee end‑to‑end project execution, ensuring timely, on‑scope and quality delivery.
• Coordinate delivery, operations and technical teams to remove blockers and manage risk.
• Steer local marketing activities in liaison with internal marketing and external agencies.
• Represent and grow the LOYONOVA brand in the Iraqi market and at industry events.
• Lead, align and develop the country team, setting clear objectives, KPIs and accountability.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a full P&L and delivering profitable growth.
• Strong track record in business development and corporate sales.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close high‑value commercial agreements.
• Leadership experience building and developing high‑performance teams.
• Excellent client‑relationship management and escalation handling skills.
• Capability to oversee project delivery and align commercial commitments with execution.
