About the role
The International Organization for Migration seeks a consultant to support the development and implementation of prevention‑oriented intelligence‑led policing (ILP) and community policing initiatives in Iraq.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance on intelligence‑led policing concepts and practices.
- Develop capacity‑building materials and training modules for law‑enforcement partners.
- Support the design and rollout of community policing strategies that emphasize prevention.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange between stakeholders and monitor progress of capacity‑development activities.
Required profile
- Proven experience in policing, security, or related law‑enforcement fields.
- Demonstrated experience in capacity development or training delivery.
- Familiarity with intelligence‑led policing and community policing frameworks.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and collaborate with government and NGO partners.
