Commercial Sales Manager

About the role

This full‑time position is based in Baghdad Governorate and focuses on leading the sales function for a retail client. The Commercial Sales Manager will drive revenue growth, oversee daily sales activities, and ensure the team meets its targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day sales operations and set performance targets.
• Manage and coach a sales team to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
• Monitor market trends, identify new business opportunities, and propose commercial strategies.
• Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and analyse performance metrics.
• Collaborate with senior management on pricing, promotions, and overall commercial strategy.
• Coordinate with other departments to support efficient store and commercial operations.

Required profile

• Proven sales and sales‑management track record with measurable results.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Experience in business planning, including forecasting, budgeting and market analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership, team supervision and performance‑management abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site in Iraq and collaborate across functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of CRM tools.
