Business Development Specialist

About the role

The Business Development Specialist will work full‑time on‑site in Baghdad Governorate, focusing on expanding Nabd Al Khaleej Properties’ client base and market presence. You will identify new opportunities, generate leads, and support the sales pipeline through research and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation.
• Conduct market research to understand trends, competitors and customer needs.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
• Meet prospective and existing clients, present company services and negotiate terms.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure high‑quality customer service.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and prepare reports and proposals.
• Support marketing activities and contribute to continuous improvement of business development processes.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
• Solid analytical and market research capabilities.
• Previous experience in real‑estate services is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Baghdad and travel to other Iraqi cities as needed.
• Good command of English and Arabic (advantageous).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software.
