BESS & PV Sales Manager – Iraq

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic BESS & PV Sales Manager to drive our solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage business in Iraq. You will act as the technical bridge between customers and our internal teams, delivering tailored solutions from pre‑sales to contract closure.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales colleagues to understand client needs and propose customized solar PV and storage solutions.
• Conduct remote or on‑site site assessments, feasibility studies and prepare technical proposals, system designs and cost‑benefit analyses.
• Deliver product presentations, technical demonstrations and support tender preparation, responding to RFPs/RFQs.
• Serve as the technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle, adapting solutions to evolving client feedback.
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement to validate system configurations and provide technical input for contract negotiations.
• Stay current on PV, BESS, inverter and monitoring technologies, identifying upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Support marketing with technical content for brochures, datasheets and case studies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in solar PV system design, sales engineering or technical support.
• Fluent in English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently (≥30%).

Required skills

• Proficiency with PV design software such as PVsyst, Helioscope and AutoCAD.
