Artificial Lift Systems Field Specialist

About the role

Join the Artificial Lift team at a leading oilfield services provider and work on the installation, operation, and maintenance of Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) systems in the field. You will ensure equipment integrity, safety, and compliance while supporting technical projects and client contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, modify, and repair ESP pumps, motors, cables, and related down‑hole equipment at contractor sites.
• Perform pre‑commissioning checks and tests to guarantee successful start‑up and continuous operation.
• Provide expert troubleshooting, safety guidance, and technical support for ESP systems.
• Repair breakdowns and conduct routine maintenance on ESP equipment.
• Lead a team, attend pre‑job planning meetings, and supervise technical services.
• Install, operate, and maintain Variable Speed Drive (VSD) systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with ESP equipment.
• Technical degree (Diploma or higher) in a relevant field.
• Hands‑on experience with VSD system installation and maintenance.
• Proven ability to perform down‑hole troubleshooting of ESP systems.
• Willingness to work on a rotational, shift‑based schedule.
• Industry‑specific training and product‑line certification for ESP technology.
