Teacher Training & Development Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a charismatic Teacher Training & Development Specialist to deliver engaging training sessions for local teachers in Baghdad. The role focuses on building confidence, professionalism, and effective classroom practices before teachers enter schools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver interactive workshops and training sessions for teachers.
• Use icebreakers and participatory activities to keep sessions lively.
• Support teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and professional confidence.
• Mentor teachers throughout their preparation and onboarding processes.
• Collaborate with schools and recruitment teams to ensure teacher readiness.

Required profile

• Fluent Arabic; English proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Charismatic, approachable, and able to engage groups.
• Passion for education and developing others.
• Prior experience in teaching, training, mentoring, or leadership is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong facilitation techniques using icebreakers and interactive activities.
