Surface Facilities Project Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Surface Facilities Project Supervisor to lead field projects within our energy assets. Reporting to the Surface Facilities IAM Project Manager or Project/Asset Manager, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise operations on field projects for one or multiple assets.
• Establish scope of work with site customers and representatives.
• Review design documentation for site‑specific adequacy and propose engineering adjustments.
• Conduct site visits before and during projects to verify compliance with technical requirements and contractor procedures.
• Monitor project advance payments, contractor resource allocation, schedule and budget compliance.
• Ensure safety conditions, stop work when unsafe practices are observed, and report to management.
• Participate in site meetings with contractors and customers; coordinate inspections by QA/QC, HSE and commissioning teams.
• Prepare periodic reports for senior management.
• Supervise personnel at BIN‑UMAR & SINDBAD stations, enforce HSE policies and drive operational improvements.
• Manage terminal operating and capital budgets, monitor key performance indicators.
• Oversee maintenance activities, SAP/CMMS system usage, and emergency response as required.
• Control flare losses and waste, coordinating with the Royal Commission and external parties.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in planning, design and construction of surface facilities.
• Proven experience supervising field projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and loss‑prevention practices.
• Ability to evaluate design documents, propose engineering solutions and manage project budgets.
• Experience coordinating with customers, contractors and regulatory bodies.

Required skills
