Site IT Manager

About the role

The Site IT Manager will lead all information technology activities that support our offices and field operations in the Kurdistan region. This senior position ensures reliable, secure and available technology services across infrastructure, networks, operational technology, field communications, mobility, cyber security, cloud platforms and enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the IT strategy, including design, deployment, operation and continuous improvement of infrastructure and OT systems.
• Manage daily IT operations – servers, networks, CCTV, access‑control, radio, PAGA and telephony – to meet defined service level agreements.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures and controls, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and industry regulations.
• Lead incident response, forensic investigations and disaster‑recovery activities for cyber‑security and IT events.
• Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of new applications and system upgrades.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, HSE, engineering and third‑party vendors to enable safe and efficient production.
• Prepare technical specifications, RFPs, evaluate vendors and manage contracts and budgets.
• Recruit, mentor and evaluate IT staff and contractors, fostering a high‑performing team.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex IT environments in an industrial or field‑based setting.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating technical teams.
• Excellent understanding of IT governance, compliance and risk management.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and external partners.
