Sales Engineer - Industrial Automation Solutions

About the role

URUK Engineering Services is looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to join its Industrial Automation Solutions department in Basra, covering the Southern Region. The role focuses on promoting and selling automation and instrumentation solutions to a range of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with engineering consultants, end‑users, EPC contractors and system integrators.
• Develop and manage key customer accounts through regular communication and visits.
• Identify new market opportunities and generate business within target industries.
• Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Promote the company’s industrial automation and instrumentation solutions.
• Implement effective sales strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, mechatronics or control engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering within industrial automation.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the Southern region for customer visits.

Required skills

• Field instrumentation knowledge (flow, level, temperature, pressure, vibration meters).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
