About the role

The role involves reviewing and approving local and foreign currency transfers and banking transactions in line with Central Bank regulations, monitoring incoming transfers, reviewing AML system alerts, and screening new customers against sanctions and FATCA requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve local and foreign currency transfers and banking transactions in compliance with Central Bank regulations.
• Monitor incoming transfers and verify that their purpose and supporting documents align with the beneficiary’s income and business activities.
• Review AML system alerts, ensure supporting documentation is complete, and act according to regulatory instructions and controls.
• Screen new customers against local and international sanctions lists and ensure compliance with FATCA requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 1 year of banking experience in anti‑money laundering and counter‑terrorism financing reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a professional work ethic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
• English language proficiency.
