Medical Representative – Iraq

About the role

Julphar is seeking a Medical Representative to promote its pharmaceutical products to healthcare providers, key opinion leaders and other stakeholders across Iraq. The role acts as a trusted advisor, helping customers make informed therapeutic decisions while representing Julphar’s core values and brand reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory and budget.
• Develop and manage relationships with customers, retailers and key stakeholders.
• Implement the company’s sales and marketing plan, including visit frequency and call coverage.
• Maintain daily and monthly CRM reports, customer profiles and market feedback.
• Organise audio‑visual activities for healthcare providers in coordination with line and marketing managers.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
• Prospect new business opportunities and ensure proper use of promotional tools and free medical samples.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• 2‑4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of distributor/agent operations, government accounts, tendering, contracting and pricing processes.
• Understanding of clinical aspects, supply‑chain basics and drug distribution channels.
• Proven ability to build partnerships with internal marketing and medical teams.
