Media Liaison Officer

About the role

Seefar is seeking a Media Liaison Officer for its RADIM II project in Iraq. The six‑month consultancy will provide field‑based multimedia production and event support to strengthen the project’s communications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional photography and video coverage of RADIM II activities, including workshops, roundtables and field events.
• Capture high‑quality footage and interviews to supplement content produced by the project’s production partner.
• Offer logistical and on‑site multimedia support, coordinating audiovisual requirements and preparing materials for events across Baghdad, Basra, Dhi Qar, Al‑Muthanna and Ninewa.
• Organise, label and securely share raw and edited multimedia assets with the communications team after each activity.
• Edit photography and video content as needed for digital and social media use.

Required profile

• Demonstrated professional experience in photography and videography, especially in event or documentary settings.
• Experience supporting or coordinating events in fast‑moving field environments.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills to work with project teams, partners and participants.
• Based in Iraq and able to travel to project locations.
• Experience with development organisations or international projects is an advantage.
