About the role
The Maintenance Coordinator supports the Maintenance Authority (MA) in overseeing station maintenance activities, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient execution of both preventive and corrective tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Act as deputy for the MA, handling validation, change of work, scheduling and other maintenance needs when the MA is unavailable.
- Support safe execution of maintenance activities, enforce zero tolerance for overdue work, and manage risk, anomalies and safety reporting.
- Conduct daily site surveys, report defects, and ensure timely closure of post‑intervention paperwork.
- Oversee contractors, review unpriced change requests, and coordinate with BOC and Site Maintenance Leads on priorities and readiness.
- Coordinate the 2‑week maintenance schedule, support asset maintenance (PM & CM), and manage support services such as scaffolds, cranes and excavation.
- Maintain daily updates in the O&M tracker, department reports, and assist in planning outages and system maintenance.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years experience in the oil & gas industry, preferably with an IOC or contractor.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop team members.
- Strong understanding of work management processes, Management of Change, and safety culture.
- Experience overseeing contractors and managing change requests.
- Ability to conduct site surveys, identify defects and ensure safe plant operation.
