Graduate Data Engineer

About the role

Kanidata is looking for recent STEM graduates to join its second Graduate Data Engineer cohort. You will start with a four‑month paid education and development program, then be deployed to client delivery teams across the UAE and MENA region for up to two years.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain production ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Model warehouse tables, write clear documentation and automate jobs.
• Design reliable, scalable enterprise‑grade data systems.
• Monitor reliability, performance and costs; resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with product, analytics and ML stakeholders on delivery.
• Own simple, observable designs that keep data trustworthy.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in a STEM discipline.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Solid problem‑solving skills with a structured approach.
• Comfortable working with data using basic SQL, spreadsheets or simple scripts.
• Curious, self‑driven learner eager to deepen data‑engineering expertise.
• Reliable team player who takes ownership and follows through on commitments.
