Financial Reporting Senior Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Senior Associate to lead the preparation and analysis of internal and regulatory reports for a major bank. The role involves daily performance reporting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with multiple departments to ensure data accuracy and timely submission.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily internal performance reports, including foreign currency positions, branch performance, commissions, interest, and CEO dashboard.
• Monitor and report on cash limits, foreign debit balances, cash‑to‑deposit ratios, and credit‑to‑capital ratios.
• Compile monthly and quarterly regulatory reports for the Central Bank of Iraq, including financial statements, liquidity coverage ratio (LCR), net stable funding ratio (NSFR), and legal reserve coverage.
• Produce liquidity reports, maturity ladder analyses, and weekly cash inventory reports.
• Prepare shareholder, COF & ROF, penalty/fine, and auction participation reports as required by senior management.
• Coordinate data collection from various departments, verify completeness and accuracy, and resolve discrepancies.
• Upload quarterly data and weekly reports to the BSRS system and follow up on regulatory observations.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data and ensure organized storage of reports and supporting documents.
• Generate ad‑hoc analyses and reports requested by senior management.
