Civil Construction Supervisor – Oil/Gas/Water (Surface)

About the role

KBR Iraq is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to lead surface civil works for oil, gas, and water projects. The role operates on a 28/28 rotation and requires direct responsibility for safe execution of defined scopes within plant areas.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of responsibility for safe execution of civil work scopes in the plant area.
• Manage site safety rules, permits to work, and risk assessments for all activities.
• Coordinate and communicate clearly between operations and construction teams to ensure alignment on interfaces and safety requirements.
• Oversee contractor workforce or integrated construction/commissioning teams, ensuring proper briefing, valid permits, and accurate progress reporting.
• Participate in site safety audits, hand‑over walk‑downs, and support functional commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience on oil and gas related civil projects.
• At least 3 years experience delivering multidiscipline oil‑and‑gas projects with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, team‑building, and supervisory skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.
