About the role
The Cashier is responsible for handling all monetary transactions related to customer purchases at the Sulaymaniyah branch. The role ensures accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with company policies while maintaining sufficient cash on hand.
Key responsibilities
- Enter funds received from customers into the cash register and issue vouchers.
- Accept cash, cheques, and bank cards, provide correct change, and issue receipts.
- Record all receipts and invoices, maintaining up‑to‑date payment records.
- Perform physical cash counts, reconcile the cash drawer, and document any discrepancies.
- Deposit daily cash into the designated bank account according to company procedures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance, or a Diploma in Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant cashier or financial transaction experience.
