Automotive Technician – Vehicle Repair & Maintenance

About the role

The Technician will perform general repair and maintenance tasks on vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation. You will diagnose automotive issues, conduct repairs, and complete routine maintenance following manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accurate maintenance and repairs on vehicles according to manufacturer checklists and established practices.
• Diagnose mechanical problems manually or using computerized diagnostic tools.
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition and properly stored.
• Keep the workshop area clean, organized, and safe.
• Document all service actions, complete job cards, and communicate any time extensions to the supervisor.
• Interact with customers to explain work performed, vehicle condition, and required repairs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and report hazards promptly.
