ASYCUDA Supervisor

About the role

The ASYCUDA Supervisor manages and monitors all ASYCUDA‑related processes for the bank’s cross‑border import payments, ensuring compliance with the Central Bank of Iraq, Iraqi Customs and other regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ASYCUDA processing and verification, ensuring correct codes are obtained and recorded before international transfers.
• Follow up post‑transfer, monitor arrival and customs clearance of goods, and close ASYCUDA files within regulatory deadlines.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, monitor new CBI regulations, and prepare periodic reports for internal and external authorities.
• Coordinate with cross‑border payments, trade finance, compliance, corporate banking and external authorities, acting as the focal point for ASYCUDA matters.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of ASYCUDA procedures and Iraqi import‑payment requirements.
• Familiarity with CBI regulations related to cross‑border payments and imports.
• Understanding of international payment processes, SWIFT transfers and trade documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and follow‑up skills, and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
