Senior Developer - Well Planning

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Developer to lead the design and delivery of a web‑based Well Plan Management Application. The solution will serve as a centralized platform for reviewing, managing and approving well planning data for a project in Iraq.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements and define functional specifications for well management modules.
• Coordinate development, testing and deployment activities across multiple teams.
• Implement data import, visualization, offset well comparison, approval workflows, status tracking, audit logging and PDF reporting.
• Ensure role‑based access control, lifecycle management (Draft, In Review, Approved, Rejected) and compliance with governance standards.
• Support post‑implementation stabilization and ongoing user training.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex web applications in the oil & gas sector.
• Strong ability to work with drilling, engineering, geology and operations stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
