Branch Manager – Baghdad

About the role

The Bank of Jordan is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Baghdad branch. You will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering high‑quality customer service across corporate, retail, and foreign remittance services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day branch operations and ensure efficient delivery of banking services.
• Develop and execute business plans to meet financial, sales and growth targets.
• Grow the corporate and retail customer base and strengthen key client relationships.
• Oversee corporate and retail products, deposits, financing and foreign remittance processing.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, KYC, AML/CFT, sanctions and internal policies.
• Monitor performance, profitability, KPIs and implement internal controls.
• Lead, supervise and develop branch staff, fostering a culture of service and accountability.
• Handle complex customer issues, maintain high satisfaction and identify cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of banking experience, including branch management.
• Strong background in corporate banking, retail banking and foreign remittances.
• In‑depth knowledge of banking regulations, AML/CFT, KYC and operational risk.
