Senior Finance Manager

About the role

talabat is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead financial planning, risk mitigation, and reporting for its regional business unit. Reporting to senior management, you will shape financial decisions that support the company’s growth across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice to management and stakeholders on the financial impact of business decisions.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimise financial risk.
• Manage working capital components – cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory turnover – to improve key KPIs.
• Oversee budget implementation, monitor variance, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and communicate periodic financial reports to Group Corporate Finance.
• Lead the accounting function for the business unit, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Coordinate yearly audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Supervise cash‑flow forecasting and drive cash‑related decisions.
• Maintain relationships with banks and other external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to taxation and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Previous experience in the food & beverage or Q‑commerce sector is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
