IT Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide timely assistance to end‑users. The role involves handling tickets, configuring hardware and software, and ensuring service requests are fulfilled within agreed SLA targets.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve tickets submitted through the ticketing system within SLA.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and macOS operating systems on PCs and laptops.
• Deploy required software and adjust configurations for diverse hardware platforms.
• Troubleshoot application compatibility issues and resolve hardware problems including printers, photocopiers, tablets, and other peripherals.
• Manage virtual machines and support phone operating systems and related applications.
• Maintain user accounts, privileges, and network services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Document actions and updates in the ticketing system following ITIL principles.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a help‑desk environment.
• Professional attitude with strong customer‑service orientation.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and adapt quickly to changing tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows OS and macOS.
• Experience installing and configuring operating systems and software.
• Hardware troubleshooting for PCs, laptops, printers, photocopiers, and tablets.
• Knowledge of virtual machines and Windows customization.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and ticketing systems.
• Understanding of ITIL processes.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent is preferred.
