Finance Manager – Manufacturing (SAP S/4HANA)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Finance Manager to lead all financial operations of our manufacturing facility in Babylon, Iraq. The role combines day‑to‑day finance management with strategic planning, cost optimisation and SAP S/4HANA stewardship.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting, cash‑flow, working capital and financial reporting for the plant.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and cost‑control initiatives.
• Support executive team with financial modelling, investment analysis and pricing strategies.
• Lead finance processes within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring integration with Costing, Procurement, Inventory, Sales and Production modules.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax laws and company policies.
• Maintain internal control systems and drive continuous improvement of finance operations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to work with senior leadership on strategic financial decisions.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA finance modules.
• Familiarity with IFRS, local tax regulations and audit processes.
