CMMS Planner – Operations & Maintenance (Basra, Iraq)

About the role

The CMMS Planner will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the SIBA CPF Operation and Maintenance project in Basra, Iraq. The role supports equipment reliability by creating and overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance plans for gas‑field assets.

Key responsibilities

• Administer daily operation, data entry and upkeep of the CMMS platform.
• Develop, schedule and manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans to ensure equipment availability.
• Monitor execution of maintenance schedules, track progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Collect, organise, analyse and archive maintenance‑related data, records and system documentation.
• Coordinate with on‑site operational and maintenance teams to support maintenance activities and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Equipment Management, Engineering Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in CMMS operation and equipment maintenance planning within gas‑field projects, preferably in Iraq or the Middle East.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to prepare detailed maintenance plans and technical documentation.
