Branch Manager – Al Yarmouk (Iraq)

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the Al Yarmouk branch, ensuring smooth operations, strong sales performance, and high customer satisfaction. This senior position reports to the Country Manager and plays a key role in implementing the bank's strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all branch activities, including operations, sales, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial and operational targets.
• Monitor performance indicators and prepare periodic reports.
• Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain accuracy in cash management, transaction processing, and record‑keeping.
• Promote cross‑selling of banking products to meet sales goals.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Coordinate with the Country Manager and other departments on business initiatives.
• Apply internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services.
• Professional certification in Banking Management (CBM) preferred.
• Specialized training in leadership, risk management, or compliance is an advantage.
